Davey Twin Impeller Skid Unit | 700L Fire Fighter

The twin-impeller skid unit is designed for high-volume firefighting and water transfer applications. It includes a 60m delivery hose and a 5m suction hose assembly, complete with a quick coupling on suction. High-pressure mobile firefighting units are also available.

Fitted with Davey’s legendary Firefighter pump, the skid unit can be used for multiple applications including:

• Firefighting
• Tanker-to-tanker water transfer
• High-head general water transfer
• Sheep jetting, washing, and disinfecting
• Irrigation and boom spraying

A major advantage of this unit is its ability to transfer water from any nearby source to the tanker when it runs empty during firefighting. The pump can operate in transfer mode to refill the tank, then switch back to firefighting mode — all without shutting off the engine.

This continuous operation is supported by an overflow function, allowing the engine to keep running while driving to the fire. The same water transfer capability can also be used to pump directly from a water source or move large volumes of water in flood situations.
